Gary has significant experience as a senior partner in a leading Maine plaintiff’s trial firm. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases and civil litigation of all kinds and so has a unique perspective on the jury trial process.
Presently, Gary is focusing his practice on providing mediation services around the State of Maine as well as teaching a CLE certified Trial Skills Training Course to lawyers in large and very small firms. All participants in this program are videotaped doing openings, closing, cross and direct.
Gary is also available to consult on negotiation tactics in particular cases and to work with attorneys on their personal injury cases.
Gary has presented many segments at the Maine Bar Association and Maine Trial Lawyers Association seminars and is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association. He has formerly chaired the CLE section of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association.
Gary has been involved in many charitable causes, most notably a project that he started in which the communities of Lewiston and Auburn, Maine funded a very extensive immunization education and clean water project in the Doukala region of the Cameroon. This project administered by Save the Children significantly decreased the area’s infant mortality rate.
Gary lives in Auburn, Maine with his wife Margie and is very proud of his son and daughter and one grandchild.
