Louise Greer joined Garmey Law in 2020, bringing over thirty years of experience as a paralegal and legal assistant. She has always been fascinated by the legal field and began her career in high school working as a receptionist for a small law firm. She later earned her Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Andover College, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Leadership and Organizational Studies from the University of Southern Maine. Over the past thirty-three years, Louise has worked in varying areas of the law, from real estate transactions to discrimination, to criminal defense, to family law, to (her favorite!) personal injury.
Louise enjoys the comradery, teamwork, and creative collaboration at Garmey Law, and is proud to work alongside our attorneys and staff to aggressively pursue claims for Mainers. She finds particular satisfaction working at Garmey Law because the team works just as hard for smaller claims and cases as the larger ones.
Louise is married and together she and her husband have four adult children. They live in Windham and love to travel regularly to New York and Florida. One day Louise would like to travel and see all fifty states. Louise is also a Notary Public for the State of Maine and has had the pleasure of performing a few of her family member’s wedding ceremonies over the last twenty-five years.
