Biography
Christopher Harmon is a highly competitive, energetic attorney. Chris joined Garmey Law (formerly known as Terry Garmey & Associates) in 2012, and since then has steadily built a reputation for his compassionate and aggressive representation of injured Mainers. Passionate for his work and his clients, he has secured millions of dollars in compensation for victims of negligence and products liability.
He specializes in pursuing claims against commercial establishments and property owners who violate building codes and regulations, as well as manufacturers of defective products. His practice also includes medical malpractice and car collision claims.
As a prominent member of Maine’s running community, Chris takes pride in representing runners, pedestrians, and bicyclists who are injured in the course of their exercise. He has obtained settlements and verdicts ranging from $50,000 to $1.6 million for injured runners.
Chris is a firm believer that every client is important and has a story to tell; they just need a good lawyer to listen. Chris graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maine and Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maine School of Law, where he earned a spot on the Editorial Board of the Maine Law Review. He is currently on the Board of Dirigo Racing Club, Maine’s most competitive Road Racing club.
